Card Club for September 2011

The stampin up card club started up again this month. We made some cute cards.

The flower on this one is cut from fabric and then glued in a circle and bunched up. Then we glued a hair clip to the back of it so we can wear it on our clothes, hair, purse etc... It was fun to make. (the green thing on the top left side is from another card. and it got in the picture.

This is the halloween card that we made. the stamp set is in the holiday mini. To color in the letters we used chalk and the blender pens. We also used the spider web embossing folder, and the Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper

Card workshop for cheryl

Cheryl had a card workshop during her month. the cards that we made are too cute. I love the color crumb cake.
I stamped for your shower at the top and now I wish I would of stuck with you mean everything to me. but it is still cute. I do have this stamp set so i can change it if I want

what a fun birthday card. too bad that SU retired this set. maybe i can get it off e bay

Card Swap ( Happy Birthday)

The theme for the May card swap was Happy Birthday I had a fun time with this one. I dont really like the way that my cards turned out but that is ok.

This is one of my cards I ran out of ideas so I kind of just threw it together it is ok

This is also one of my cards (I did two) the silver is just tin foil embossed. I glued it to card stock so it would hold its shape

The light blue strip on this one is not on this card. I was a screw up in the way that I scanned it.

Card Swap (Our First One)

We have decided to start doing a card swap. These are the first ones that we did. We all voted for our favorite 2 and the winner got to pick from Sherri's grab basket.










This is my card (I ended up winning the swap and i chose a stamp set that has a butterfly and flower and leaves it is awesome)


This one I think that the person ran out of time because it was just the tissue paper technique so i added the thread and the circle with the thank you sentiment

Card Class for May

So I am a little behind on posting these cards but I have to because they are too cute to miss
This was a fun card to make we cut an oval out of the front of the card then stamped a tie and cut it out then glued it so it was visible in the oval. I love the embossing that was done on the front of the card too. It looks like bark. I don't think that I will give it to my dads because it is not really any of their style's


This card was a challenge because of the paper piecing that we did. it was time consuming. then trying to get them to glue down on glitter was hard too. After all was said and done, we realized that we were suppose to glue the paper down then put the glitter on. ha ha oh well it all worked out.

Card Club for June

This one is cute The punch that we used for it was a little challenging, You dont know that it has punched through because it is a 3 way and it dont go down all the way. But it is way cool
This one we did heat embossing, I really like heat embossing, one of my favorite techniques. I chose to put for the newlyweds as the sentiment because i have a wedding later this month.
We had a fun time last night. It is sad that we will not be meeting next month or Aug. but it will give me a chance to catch up on other things

fun little easter card

This was a cute little card that I made over at Julies house. When you open the card up you see the rest of the egg chicken and a little saying that says "you crack me up" for the egg part I put diamond glaze down and sprinkled glitter dust on and let dry.
I used a su border punch to do the bottom edge. all items are su except for the patterned paper and the ribbon and the little button brats and the diamond glaze and glitter.

Happy Together Tissue Box

I made a Cute little box to cover the pocket tissues that you can get.

This is the back. I cut a hole in it so you can get the tissues out

I stamped some quails from the happy together set from stampin up

Baby Girl Album

Here is an album that I made for a gift for my cousin. They are having a little girl. (if you cant tell)

I used the Cricut to cut out the mom and baby it was the a child's year cart.

I like this one for when she is crawling.

I used the cricut and sure cuts alot with this one
