Crafties with the neighboor!

The neighbor that lives behind me (Julie) and i got together and we painted the stepping stone. One side is for autumn and the other is winter. We cut out stencils with the cricut and used paint and a stencil (stipple) brush to apply the paint then she coated them with polyurethane (it is also recommended to put polyurethane on the brick before you paint that way the cement wont absorb as much paint
Julies daughter gets free wood from her husbands work and we have turned them into cute pumpkins. we cut a stick or branch for the stems then tied green fabric and curly wire for the stems.
Julie and i went to a SU card class and these are the cards that we made. too cute if you ask me
I have made this card before but who can resist making it again.

Some Cute Cards

This is a cute card that i Made at the local Bee hive (just bee scrapin) the green is just to make the card show up from the scanner. can be done in any color. i just chose pink dont know why.
How cute a Frankie card. Just cut circles in various sizes to make the eyes. the eyelids and nose are circles cut in half (How clever) then use a pen to make the mouth and stitches
This card is a gate fold It opens in the center the spider was a punch that i have (I didnt want to cut out the stamped image) Hope you all have a happy crafting day!

Cards I made

A friend and I went to a stampin up card workshop. We made 2 cards this is the cracked glass process. you stamp your image and then use clear embossing powder. you put on 3 or 4 layers then freeze it for a few minutes. After you pull it out of the freezer you bend it and crack the embossing. to accent the cracks rub a little brown ink over the top of it.

This is the scratch and sniff process. What you have to do is mix 1 1/2 embossing powder with 1 sugar free drink mix. (crystal light is what we used)It has to be sugar free because when you put a heat gun to it the sugar will burn and turn brown. so 1 1/2 t. of embossing powder and 1 t. of sugar free drink mix. then emboss as normal. How cool! then you just scratch and wahla a grape or strawberry scent to your card. (only the middle cone is smelly)
