Wedding sign in book

weddings are a beautiful thing (This is Jessica and Jason) and as a gift (plus they asked me to) I made a sign in book for them . It is basicly a scrapbook with a lot of white space for people to sign at the reception insted of a traditional sign in book. you are open to leave advice or well wishes or just sign your name. it was a fun thing to do but the colors red turquoise and black are hard to find. but lucky for me SEI happened to have a line that met up with what i needed.

Hot Chocolate gift

This was a really fun project that Julie and I made at Dana's house. Dana provided all the stuff except the glue. It has a packet of hot chocolate inside and she gave us 2 candy canes but Ethan ate one of mine. This would be a great gift with a gift card to a place that sells hot chocolate or coffee (maverick, Starbucks, Hastings ...) all the products are stampin up (less the cups and candy and chocolate) the cardstock is real red and pink pirouette. (i think) and the patterned paper is one of the christmas lines from the Christmas mini. (so sad that you can't get it anymore) The stamp fun. Dana got the idea from this blog
http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com/2010/12/its-all-about-gift-wrap.html
It is a great blog with a ton of ideas and boxes you can make. This blog also has instructions on how to make it. with different stamps and paper used.

Fun Christmas Cards

The cards that i made in class this month were fun. Top card is called a "magic"card because when the image tag is in all you see is the black stamped image but when you pull it out you see the image colored and (in this case) merry Christmas. it was a fun card to make. i think though that i might change the image it is a little to "cartoonie" for the type of paper that i used. my neighbor has a stamp that will match it.
the second card was fun too and a lot easier. I embossed the snowflakes and then used white craft ink and rubbed it over the top then i water colored the snowmen and used a product that stampin up sells called champagne glass it is like glitter but bigger chunks and well like glass.

I had a lot of fun in class this month and So did Ethan he had to come with because Aaron was still working. He played with the kids at the party and had a blast.

October Cards

So the cards that I made this month at Just bee Scrapin were cute. I really like the pumpkin. it was all done by piecing the parts together. and cutting out the grass and shapes. a little time consuming but the end results are fun
this is the happy birthday card that i made. I dont care for it it needs something I think that I will put a flower in the pink square or something. maybe some ribbon. i dont know .
the thanks card is cute too. but needs some ribbon or something. I think that I will tie some around the center white square.

Crafties with the neighboor!

The neighbor that lives behind me (Julie) and i got together and we painted the stepping stone. One side is for autumn and the other is winter. We cut out stencils with the cricut and used paint and a stencil (stipple) brush to apply the paint then she coated them with polyurethane (it is also recommended to put polyurethane on the brick before you paint that way the cement wont absorb as much paint
Julies daughter gets free wood from her husbands work and we have turned them into cute pumpkins. we cut a stick or branch for the stems then tied green fabric and curly wire for the stems.
Julie and i went to a SU card class and these are the cards that we made. too cute if you ask me
I have made this card before but who can resist making it again.

Some Cute Cards

This is a cute card that i Made at the local Bee hive (just bee scrapin) the green is just to make the card show up from the scanner. can be done in any color. i just chose pink dont know why.
How cute a Frankie card. Just cut circles in various sizes to make the eyes. the eyelids and nose are circles cut in half (How clever) then use a pen to make the mouth and stitches
This card is a gate fold It opens in the center the spider was a punch that i have (I didnt want to cut out the stamped image) Hope you all have a happy crafting day!
